We know just how much goes into every drop of expressed breast milk — the time, the planning, the pumping sessions, the middle-of-the-night feeds and the precious freezer space it quickly takes over!

We’re developing a specialist UK service designed to freeze-dry your own expressed breast milk, transforming it into a convenient powder that’s easier to store, transport and use when you need it.

Meet The Milk Mums
The Milk Mums was founded by Sam and Gemma, two mums who understand that no two feeding journeys look the same.
We created The Milk Mums because we wanted to build something genuinely useful for families — but from the beginning, we knew we wanted it to be about more than a service.
We want to create a community of Milk Mums.
A place where feeding journeys can be shared honestly, where the highs are celebrated, the difficult days are talked about and families feel supported rather than judged.
Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding, exclusively pumping, combination feeding, returning to work, building a stash or simply wanting more flexibility, there is a place for you here.
Why Freeze-Dry Breast Milk?
Expressed breast milk can be incredibly precious, but storing and transporting frozen milk isn't always easy.
Freezers fill up. Milk needs to stay frozen while travelling. Returning to work, arranging childcare or simply spending a night away can make feeding logistics complicated.
Freeze-drying removes the water from frozen breast milk, creating a lightweight powder that takes up significantly less space and can be reconstituted when needed.
Our aim is simple: to give families another option for preserving their expressed breast milk and make their feeding journey a little more convenient.
